SmileyRose ;o)

Whenever I write my internet persona I always write my name in CamelCase...ie SmileyRose. :)

CamelCase is when you write compound words with one or more uppercase capital letters which are joined together to make one word........ A little like a marriage I guess. ;) It is also known as Medial Capitals :)

There are only three sites that I like to write on. I use my persona name SmileyRose on all three sites. They are Facebook, Twitter and this Blogsite. :)

I simply love those songs which have good lyrics....the ones which make sense when you sing along and dance to them. :)

Repetative Strain Injuries

Thinks sprain injuries are not due to the amount of typing you do, but how fast you are expected to type in a certain time scale/period of time!! I must rest now.

I really understand why some folk suffer from Repetative Strain Injury.

"Shaddap A Your Face" - How Rude! ;)

Ewww!

When you hear SOME youngsters keep saying "Shaaart Aaaaap" every few minutes...doesn't it make you cringe a little? :)

SmileyRose x

*Cringes*

Sitting on the bus this evening I lost count of how many times I heard three young girls swear in the space of 5 minutes!!! One of the girls had a young baby with her and I cringed at the thought of the baby's first words.

Ewww! Heaven help us!!!

A Difficult Task!

So funny! Yesterday afternoon whilst I was at work I was walking back to the office carrying three mugs of coffee. I was faced with one of those 'pull' open swing doors. Hmmm I wondered how I was going to get through it with my hands full. What made it worse was... I was carrying someone elses 'special' mug...therefore I was gripping hold of it very tightly in fear of dropping it.

There was nobody looking. I bend down to put one of the mugs on the floor, then I pulled open the door. I stuck my bottom out to hold the door open. I then bend over to pick the mug up. I stuggle a little before finally getting through the door!!!! Phew!! :)

Eww the difficult tasks I have to do sometimes. :)

Silly Sausage!!!

Yesterday morning I decided to change my bed covers. I stripped the bed and then I loaded the washing machine. :)

Whilst I was at work I suddenly had a thought. I couldn't remember seeing the book I am reading on the top of my bed after I removed the bedding. Ooo did I put it in the washing machine by mistake?

When I came home yesterday... I rushed to the washing machine and I pulled all of my bedding out of it. I expected the worst....a soggy book perhaps! Ewww it was a horrid feeling but you will be pleased to know that the book wasn't in there and when I eventually found it, it was nice and dry.....unwashed. :) It had fallen at the side of my bed whilst I removed the bedding.

What a silly sausage I am. :)

"Les Miserables"

I have always been a huge fan of musical films...ever since i was a little girl. :)

Today I went to see the fabulous, fabulous musical film ‘Les Miserables’ at the cinema. I very much enjoyed the film.

I first went to watch the Westend musical ‘Les Miserables’ some years ago....long before either of my daughters were born. My eldest daughter is now 21yrs old. My...how time flys. J
I remember crying because I was so overcome by the Westend show when I went to watch it a number of years ago. It was that good... however nothing could prepare me for the film adaption of the Victor Hugo novel. I am so glad I took some tissues with me to watch the film this afternoon.

The film starred Hugh Jackman, who was absolutely superb. His acting was astounding and I wasn’t aware how powerful his singing voice was. I also loved Samantha Barks acting/singing voice.  Fabulous to say the least! :0

The film also starred Russel Crowe, Anne Hatheway (fabulous actress), Amanda Seyfield, Helena Bonham Carter, Samantha Barks , Eddie Redmayne and a whole host of other actors.

The film lasted for over 2hrs...however it kept my interest right to the very end.
I’m not going to be a total spoiler here..however the film told the daunting story of a man who breaks patrol after serving a long time imprisonment for stealing a loaf of bread.  He stole in order to help feed his sister's young son.

The film is set in 19th century France.  Jean Valjean is hunted down by the Policeman Javert, but he escapes being captured on a number of occasions. Some years later Jean Valjean is unaware that one of his employees,  sacks Fantine, who is trying to make ends meet as a struggling single parent.  She makes a little money for herself and her daughter after she has her own hair cut off and she sells it on to a woman who gives her a small amount of money for it. She turns to prostitution to enable her to afford to keep her child safe, however she has a run in with the man who sacked her from her job as a factory worker. She is threatened with imprisonment. She eventually becomes very ill and jean Valjean keeps a vigil by her hospital bedside. He makes a promise to Fantine that he will care for her daughter Cossette just before she dies. He tracks Cossette down. She is being mistreated by a publican and his wife. He gives Cossette a happier life by caring for her as a father. She falls in love with Marius. Jean Valjean helps to save him during a barricade battle....and that is the general gist of the story.

I was a full time Mother when I was divorced, therefore I could associate/understand the hardships a Mother has to go through when she is faced alone in the world. It's never easy. Poor health, suicidal thoughts spring to mind....but i don't want to go there, nor do I don't want to be reminded.

It is a very haunting story which really tugs at your heart. You really do need some tissues. J

The music is absolutely marvellous to say the least. I found myself wanting to sing the songs out aloud because I bought the soundtrack after watching the Westend musical. I remember playing the songs over and over again.

I really loved the film. J

This Made Me Laugh Out Loud!!!!

Yawns! This article made me laugh out loud!!! So what you are really trying to say here DM is that young couples who want to reproduce and have more children, then they remain faithful to each other during the reproductive years....however folk/couples who no longer want to have any more babies, then they end up straying? Right!!!

Well have I got news for you!!!

Some women can still be desireable to the opposite sex and they can still have a great sexual drive even if they don't want to reproduce/have any more children!!! ....and the guy still feels less inclined to want stray because they love the woman they share their life with very deeply and the furthest thing on their mind is to want to even consider straying.  So there!!! Not all men are that shallow. Some men are quite contented spending their lives with just one  partner...and living happily ever after...even if it means not having any more children.  :)

"It's Complicated"

I sat back to watch the RomCom film 'It's Complicated' this evening.  LOL the film was very funny and there was one scene which really tickled me. I laughed out loud! :D

The film starred Steven Martin, Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin.

I can see why the film was entitled 'It's Complicated'....mainly because the relationship was indeed very complicated. :)

The film told the story of Jane who has an affair with her ex-husband Jake. What is so complicated about that you may think :)  Well Jake is remarried to Agnes, who is much younger than ex wife Jane.  Jake realises he is missing being with someone who he shares so much more in common with.  In the mean time Jane falls for Adam who is also divorced.  Jake becomes jealous and decides to leave Agnes. Jane decides that her relationship with Jake would never work out therefore she ends the affair with her ex husband. It seems there is a happy ending. :)

Eww when a long-term relationship ends, particularly when there are children involved, it is always advisable to have a break from having another relationship at least until you are ready to start a new one. It is not always easy to move on as there is quite often a lot of hurt involved.

It is a complicated relationship story. I did not really feel sorry for Jake because he did after all cause the marriage break up when he had the affair with the much younger woman Agnes.

A very funny little comedy. I really enjoyed watching it. :)
