About Me

My name is Frances Rose Agnes Napper aka SmileyRose. I am a friendly and fun loving individual. I like meeting new/old friends. Although I love being with friends, I also enjoy my own space from time to time. I have a number of hobbies. I enjoy taking photographs, going to the theatre, travel (visiting new and exciting places), reading, films and listening to music. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I particularly enjoy it when we all get together. I was a full-time mother for both of my daughters and I did not go back to work until they both reached primary school age. The UK has a lot to offer because there are so many picturesque places to visit. I particularly enjoy the British countryside. My home town was in Stamford, Lincolnshire although I am currently living in Peterborough. My Father was a serving member of the RAF. I'd consider myself well travelled from a very early age (6 months old). Divorced - for 10yrs. Currently single. I am interested in meeting nice folk only. :) Star sign - Leo the Lion. Birthday -July 29th. That's me in a nutshell. :)

"Letting Go"

Letting Go!

I found this on the internet and after reading it, it made me feel so much better about so many things. It's really hard to let go sometimes, however each of us have to go through it at some stage in our life. I'd like to share this with you. :)

Letting go is one of the hardest lessons in life.

In life, there's many things that we have to learn to let go. We have to let go of situations, things, memories, people and even ourselves.

It's easy to form an attachment to people and things. When you've formed an attachment to people and things, it can be a very painful experience and feeling when you realized that it's time to let go. Even the mere thought of not having that person or thing in your life just squeezes your heart in pain.

However, there are times where you or that person has changed to the extent that it's necessary to let go of the relationship or friendship, so that each of you can fulfill your life path.

Letting go of your past and memories are also extremely hard. Even though old memories can be tormenting, yet you might hold on to the past and refuse to move forward. However, by refusing to let go of the painful past, it'll serve as a roadblock to love.

Letting go of your old self and the process of letting the new you emerge can be one of the scariest experiences in your life. But by leaving behind your old self and taking a leap of faith into the unknown, it might just reveal what you are truly capable of becoming.

Yes! It's time to let go!!!

To both of my daughters who have both 'Done their Mum proud' over the past few years ...It's time for me to let go! Yes! It's time to turn the page and to start a new chapter in my life.

It was Lauren's last day at school last week. Lauren is my youngest daughter. She has now officially left school. :) My, how my baby's have grown. Catherine is about to finish Uni and time is moving on. LOL I've even deleted them both of my Facebook because I'm setting them both free. Here's hoping they both remember that there ain't no mountain high enough. XXX

Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.
