About Me

My name is Frances Rose Agnes Napper aka SmileyRose. I am a friendly and fun loving individual. I like meeting new/old friends. Although I love being with friends, I also enjoy my own space from time to time. I have a number of hobbies. I enjoy taking photographs, going to the theatre, travel (visiting new and exciting places), reading, films and listening to music. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I particularly enjoy it when we all get together. I was a full-time mother for both of my daughters and I did not go back to work until they both reached primary school age. The UK has a lot to offer because there are so many picturesque places to visit. I particularly enjoy the British countryside. My home town was in Stamford, Lincolnshire although I am currently living in Peterborough. My Father was a serving member of the RAF. I'd consider myself well travelled from a very early age (6 months old). Divorced - for 10yrs. Currently single. I am interested in meeting nice folk only. :) Star sign - Leo the Lion. Birthday -July 29th. That's me in a nutshell. :)

A Lovely Day In Cambridge with Catherine :)

Today I had a super day with my daughter Catheriine.  We both decided to spend the day shopping in Cambridge. We stopped off for a spot of lunch together, before continuing our shopping. It was lovely spending some Mum and daughter time together, as always. :)

We were having such a good day, we thought it would be nice to go to the cinema to end our lovely day together.  We went to see the Disney movie 'Into The Woods' which starred Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Frances de la Tour, James Cordon and Tracey Ullman :)

The film genre was fantasy/musical which was inspired by the Grimm Brothers' fairy tales: Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel.

LOL Johnny Depp made a great big bad wolf! Meryl Streep played a powerful witch. She had an amazing singing voice. Emily Blunt, is such a good actress. :)

Not a spoiler :)

Basically, a childless baker and his wife set out to remove a curse put on them by a wicked witch.

LOL the film had sub-titles, so that you could feel free to sing-along. My ex recently told Catherine about a really funny incident re when I first met her dad.  We were sitting and watching a film together and we'd pressed on the sub-title button.  It was a film about General Custer and I couldn't work out who General Hubbab was!!! :D

Catherine and I both loved the film.  In fact, this afternoon, we had the whole screen at the cinema, to ourselves. :D

Hmm I feel like Cinderella....waiting for her Prince Charming, only it wasn't meant to be. ;)
