Aww It Was Only Bradley :)

So funny! This morning I awoke with the patter of tiny thuds on the stairway. I was a little hesitant to take a look. When I peered over the bannister to see what it was, I saw Bradley trying to climb the stairs. He'd jumped over his gated barrier and he was trying to get to me! Love him! When I saw him he just looked at me as if to say "Look how cute I look Mum" ;)

"Happy Mother's Day"

Happy Mother's Day to my Mum and to all of the other Mum's out there this Mothering Sunday.  I am hoping you all have a super day today. X

I am also thinking about all of those folk who have lost their mum's. My thoughts are with you all today. God Bless. X

Today I am spending Mother's Day on my own....with just Bradley Bunny.:)

I had a wonderful day with one of my daughter Lauren yesterday and Catherine my other daughter was working, therefore she couldn't be with us. Catherine and I have spent lots of time together during my days off recently, therefore it wasn't so bad.   :)

As for my own Mum, well I see my Mum quite a lot, therefore she's spending the day with my sister today. Happy Mother's Day to her. :)

I am having a lovely rest after a tiring day yesterday. My feet are up.:D

"Suite Francaise"....Or Should I Say SWEET FRANCES (My Christian Name):D

I am feeling exhausted today! :) Lauren (one of my daughters) and I had a super day yesterday, in St Albans. Unfortunately Catherine, my other daughter could not be with us as she was working however Catherine and I have spent a number of days during my days off recently. We both had a lovely trip to Cambridge a couple of weeks ago. :)

Lauren and I browsed the fabulous market stalls and the lovely shops together in St Albans. We visited the beautiful St Albans Cathedral. It was a very pretty City, not all that far away from The City of London. :)

We later went to have lunch at Zizzy. I loved the food. :) Then it was off to the Odeon to see 'Suite Francaise' which sounds very much like Sweet Frances. :)

The film was excellent and it starred the fabulous actress Kristin Scott Thomas, Michelle Williams and Mattias Schoenearts. The film is based on a best selling novel by Irene Nemirovsky. The film is set in the 1940's during the German occupation of France and it tells the story of love, power and the tragedies of war time. I loved the film and it is definitely a film to go and see. Lauren and I later spent time at her Uni premises catching up. I then had the drive home...so feeling tired, happy but also sad our lovely day came to an end. Love you Lauren and Catherine. Heres to our next adventure together.;)

Congratulations to my daughter Catherine for passing her driving test. I am so proud of you.  So now BOTH of my daughters can drive! How lovely. :D

Taken on my mobile phone, St Albans Cathedral. It was beautiful. :)

"Kingsman - The Secret Service" :)

LOL I have just come back from the Showcase Cinema. This evening I went to watch the new comedy spy film 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' ....it stars Colin Firth, Samuel L Jackson and Michael Caine.

The film was definitely worth watching and it was full of laughs, however it was somewhat disappointing when all of the main characters in the film are all killed off (including Colin Firth). You're then left with Egghead Gary, I mean Eggsy and Roxy (no my name is not Roxy, but you can call me anything you like), both set out to save the world from a global threat. :) Eggsy is a streetkid whose father was killed in the Secret Service. He winds up in prison but he is set free after he calls an old friend of his father (Colin Firth), who feels obliged to repay the boy a favour because his father saved his life. There is a really good scene in the film when Mr Firth does his swashbuckling stuff *Loved It*...it made me chuckle. I won't be complete spoiler here but I really enjoyed the film, even though there was some 'comic style' violence in the film. :)

"The Second Most Exotic Marigold Hotel" and "The Boy Next Door"

I went to watch 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' with my daughter.....and I must say how much I really enjoyed watching the film. :) The film starred Judy Dench, Bill Nighy, Richard Gere, Maggie Smith, Dev Patel, Teena Desae and a host of other good actors. I remember watching the first film and thinking how good it would be to have a sequel. It wasn't disappointing at all. I loved it!

The film begins where the first film ended. It tells the story of some elderly British people who all move to a hotel in Jaipur, India. Basically, Sonny has a dream to open a second hotel, particularly as the first hotel is very successful, but it only has one vacancy left. He is expecting a hotel inspector to visit the hotel, however there's a slight mix up!  :)  Douglas and Evelyn are in the throws of becoming a couple after Douglas's wife arrives at the hotel and tells him that she wants a divorce. Muriel becomes co-manager of the hotel. :)

I also went to watch 'The Boy Next Door.' The film starred the fabulous Jennifer Lopez and the gorgeous Ryan Guzman. The film is psychological thriller which will make you think twice about who you keep company with, including your next door neighbour. I'd like to think my next door neighbour is fine though....although, you can never be too sure. ;)  I rather enjoyed the film. It was definitely worth a watch. It gave me a few goosebumps...especially the part when he takes his top off and he holds the garage door up for her. LOL ;)
